Korean Soban: The Amazingly-Beautiful Korean Single Table Eating Culture

Join me as I visit Andong, a very prosperous area of traditional Korean culture, and see how aristocratic Korean families ate in the past.

Today, Korean meals are often served with multiple people sitting around the table and dining together, sometimes even sharing side dishes. However, it turns out that the real historical Korean eating culture was to have one table for each person. This is called Soban.

Come see some beautiful Soban and let me know in the comments which is your favorite style. How about in your country? Is there a traditional food culture you still keep that you can share in the comments? Andong is located along the Nakdong River, in South Korea and is rich in traditional Korean culture through its museums and historical presentations.
