Object - Verb Structure with Daily Korean Expressions

All of you might already know that Korean follows the S-O-V structure.

Subject always comes first but it is often dropped

And unlike English, object precedes the verb.

For example, I eat food in English would be I food eat in Korean and it would often be food eat since subject is often dropped.

In this episode of Korean Unnie, we will practice this Object Verb structure with everyday phrases in Korean.

1) 세수를 하다 (to) wash face

세수 face wash

하다 to do

세수를 하다 to wash face

Oh 를 here is the object marker. There are object markers in Korean that you attach behind objects. They are 을 and 를. You attach 을 when the object ends with a consonant and 를 when the object ends with a vowel. I will make a video just for this later on so don’t worry about this too much right now.
